Actega seizes the opportunity in 2024 and has set out to plan for 2025. As a manufacturer of specialty varnishes and inks in the printing and packaging industry, it has established cooperation and expanded production facilities to make progress in the field of sustainable solutions.

Looking forward to 2025, Actega will strengthen its focus on sustainability, launching innovative products and leading initiatives to promote sustainable development in the industry. It is worth mentioning that Actega is the confirmed exhibitor of ExpoPrint & ConverFlexo 2026 Latin America.

Ecoleaf and Signite technology achievements. Ecoleaf technology for on-demand metallization of label finishes has become a key innovation in Actega's product portfolio and won the FINAT 2024 Sustainability Award in the category "Reducing Environmental Impact. It addresses sustainable packaging challenges with the goal of increasing recyclability and reducing waste. In 2024, Actega will expand the scope of Ecoleaf applications through strategic cooperation with Fujifilm. Both sides integrate 46kUV inkjet print bar and Ecoleaf metallization technology to improve print resolution. Actega also provides brand owners with a free simplified life cycle assessment to support sustainable practices.

The cooperation between Actega and All4Labels has also developed in depth. In December 2023, a 10-year agreement was reached to designate All4Labels as the exclusive partner for Signite technology in the European market. In 2024, the two companies will jointly optimize production, create "vision without labels" solutions for European multi-industry brand owners, and expand the cooperation to Central and South America to bring sustainable technologies to market.

In terms of sustainability, Actega continues to cultivate deeply. Adhering to the concept of "making the world a little bluer", we will build a circular ecology and reduce climate impact. Introduced a TMPTA-free UV varnish product line to deal with the classification of TMPTA carcinogens. For metal protection applications, a new scheme has been introduced to replace the traditional system containing BPA. Efforts have also been made to replace systems containing PFAS additives and raw materials, and many products are no longer free of such substances.

Looking forward to 2025, Actega is based on insights into consumer expectations, regulations and technological developments, and knows that packaging will need to balance market needs and environmental responsibilities in the future. Under the wave of environmental consumption transformation, Actega aims to lead the industry transformation through innovation, meeting customer needs, putting sustainability first.
