Tokyo Game Show (TGS) is a professional game exhibition sponsored by the Japan Computer Entertainment Association (CESA) and co-sponsored and supported by the Nikkei BP and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. The exhibition was started in 1996 and has been held once a year in spring and autumn since 1997, and changed to once a year in 2002. So far, Tokyo Video Show has developed into the largest game exhibition in Asia, and is the second largest game exhibition in the world after E3 Game Show in the United States.

Every year, it attracts large game companies such as Sony Computer Entertainment, Bandai Namco, SEGA, Square Enix, Colome, KOEI TECMO, Microsoft and so on. The first two days of the exhibition are only open to business hours and only to professional buyers; the next two days are open days, open to business people, the general public, and players. During the exhibition, the "Asian Game Industry Summit", "Asian Game Trend Lecture" and various planning activities for Asian countries will be held at the same time.
